Sausages

Our sausages are made only from quality cuts of meat and the best local ingredients in natural skins. All are from traditional and rare breed meats raised on our own farm. Our traditional family recipes include:

Pies

Our fresh, home-made pies and pasties are full of meat (traditional and rare breed of course) and bursting with flavour. They are the pies you would like to make if only you had the time! Try our customers' favourites:

Bacon & Gammon

Dry cured, smoked or unsmoked bacon and gammon from traditional and rare breeds, like the Gloucestershire Old Spots, is succulent and full of mouthwatering flavour - not white liquid.

The gammon steaks are large and lightly marbled with fat that ensures a wonderful flavour and juicy texture.

Choice cuts and joints

Rare and traditional breeds grow slowly - and there is no way we will ever feed them unnatural growth promoters! So sometimes demand outstrips supply. But when you taste a fine Dexter steak or a crackling-covered Middle White roast you'll agree it's worth the wait. Contact us to see what is available and order in advance to make sure you get what you want.

Other delights

Traditional potted beef is one of our Farmers' Market favourites. No wonder as it is full of quality meat and tastes wonderful.

Try our ever-popular savoury ducks. They're not what the name suggests - no connection with the birds. These are individual duckets or "ducks", a tasty mixture of beef,bacon,liver, onion, sage and mixed herbs. At first glance they look a little like faggots, but really that's where the resemblance ends.

Our burgers are a little different to most. First they are full of minced real meat, so the texture is great. Secondly that meat is from traditional breeds, so the flavour is superb.

Farm Shop

When visiting the farm discover the many other gastronomic delights to be found in our new farm shop. Apart from our own products, we are stocking a unique range of fine, locally-produced foods from the area.
